This explains what happens to your information when you use this website or ask us for a quote. Effective August 13, 2026.
Who we are
The business behind this site.
Midnight Express DJs is a family DJ business based in Fargo, ND, serving North Dakota, western Minnesota, and into Montana. If you have a question about anything on this page, or you want us to delete information we hold about you, email tylerexpressdj@gmail.com or call (701) 773-6805.
What you give us
Information you send us on purpose.
Our quote form on the contact page is hosted by Dubsado, a booking and client management service. It appears inside our page, but what you type goes to Dubsado, and we read it there. It normally includes your name, your email address, your phone number, your event date, your venue, and whatever details you choose to tell us about the event.
If you email us or call us, we have whatever you sent or told us. If you book a planning call, that scheduling runs through Cal.com and includes your name, your email address, and the time you picked.
We ask for this so we can quote your event, check whether your date is open, and plan the night. We do not need anything else, so we do not ask for anything else.
What gets collected automatically
Website analytics.
We use PostHog to understand which pages people read and how they found us. On each page view it records the page, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address, which in practice means a city and region rather than an address.
It also records five specific actions, so we can tell whether the site is doing its job: clicking the quote button, reaching the thank-you page after submitting a quote, clicking to schedule a call, clicking our phone number, and clicking our email address.
Two things it deliberately does not do. It does not record general clicking, typing, or scrolling, because we turned that feature off. And it does not capture what you typed into the quote form: the event tells us a quote was submitted, not what was in it.
PostHog analytics on this site are routed through our own domain and store their identifier in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie.
Cookies
Cookies from our advertising.
We advertise on Google. Every page on this site loads Google's advertising tag, which sets cookies in your browser so Google can tell whether someone who clicked one of our ads later asked us for a quote. That measurement is the only reason it is here.
Cloudflare hosts this website and may set a cookie of its own for security and bot filtering.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can control how Google personalizes ads to you through Google's own Ad Settings and advertising controls. Blocking these cookies does not stop you from using this site or from contacting us.
Who else sees it
The services we rely on.
We are a small business and we use outside services to run this site. Each of these handles some of your information on our behalf, and each publishes its own privacy policy:
- Dubsado, our quote form and client management.
- PostHog, our website analytics, hosted in the United States.
- Google, our advertising and conversion measurement.
- Cal.com, scheduling, if you book a call with us.
- Cloudflare, hosting and delivery of this website.
We do not sell your information, and we do not trade it or hand it to anyone for their own marketing. Beyond the services above, we would only share it if the law required it.
How long we keep it
Retention.
We keep quote requests and client correspondence as long as we need them to run the business, which includes answering you, playing your event, and meeting normal tax and record-keeping obligations afterward. Analytics data is retained by PostHog under the settings on our account there. If you want your inquiry deleted sooner, ask us and we will do it.
Your choices
What you can ask us to do.
Email tylerexpressdj@gmail.com and you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do it. You do not need to cite a law to make the request, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
If you live somewhere with specific legal data rights, tell us and we will honor the rights that apply to you.
Children
This site is not for kids.
This is a website for booking wedding and event services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes.
If we start using a new service, or stop using one listed here, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. This version is effective August 13, 2026.
