Brief History
The venue is situated on 40 acres of land. Originally built in 1906, it became the home of the grandparents of one of the owners of the current venue. It was here that many parties for family and friends were held. After they moved on, the venue was purchased by their granddaughter. Now, with new amenities and a beautiful space for ceremonies and receptions, it continues to carry on the legacy of a place where friends and family can all come together to celebrate life and love.

ACCOMMODATIONS for Ceremonies & Receptions
Lone Oak holds up to 400 guests. There is a beautiful outdoor grassy area that allows for a beautiful nature backdrop, and natural seating for all your guests. They provide you with a sound system so that all your guests can hear as you are professing your love for each other. Inside the venue is air conditioned and heated, and is spacious enough so that you don’t feel crowded. There is also an outdoor patio right near the bar area that allows for guests to spend time outside if they would like to get away from all the noise inside.
Food and Drink
Lone Oak has an in-house bar, stocked with every kind of drink that you would want for your big day. The bar takes cash or credit and provides your guests with a comfortable place to enjoy themselves. For food options, you are welcome to use any caterer you choose, as long as they are licensed in North Dakota.

When you get married at Lone Oak, you are the only wedding for the day. This allows the venue to be focused solely on you and your big day. Wedding days here include access to the venue from 9am-12am, access to the Farmhouse on-site for hair and make-up, a fully staffed bar, place settings for 400 guests, and so much more. Nearby ACCOMMODATIONS
For an additional charge, you can rent out the Farmhouse which can sleep up to 12 guests on Thurs-Fri or Sat-Sun. Other accommodations include Cassleton’s Governor’s Inn or many options in Fargo/Moorhead. The venue can also provide recommendations for shuttle services so that your guests will never be stranded and will always have a safe ride home.
