For Aviation enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike, the Fargo Air Museum provides a unique experience for your wedding day.  Although this building does function as a museum, the space can be rented to host your bug day and provide a unique experience for all your guests.  Located at 1609 19th Ave N, Fargo, this spacious venue is close to the interstate for easy access to anywhere in Fargo.

General Aesthetic of the Fargo Air Museum

The Fargo air museum is a spacious room, lined with large windows on one side to ensure that it is well-lit. The museum’s planes are a unique touch to add a little extra special touch. Older members of your crowd will enjoy looking at the larger airplanes, and younger members might enjoy the few small airplanes scattered around that they can climb up into. As this museum has been converted into an event space from an airport hanger, the space is plenty large.

Brief History

The Fargo Air Museum was founded in 2001 to inspire education, preservation and restoration of the aviation industry. As a non-profit organization, during the day they function as a full museum helping to spread awareness of aviation. Apart from their mission of spreading the joys of air crafts, they have also created their space to host events.

Noteworthy Features

The most noteworthy feature of this venue is the ability to have airplanes in the reception space for your guests to view.  The charm of the museum is a great backdrop for a memorable wedding day.

ACCOMMODATIONS for Ceremonies & Receptions

Although you could set up chairs for a ceremony, many couples prefer this venue to be only a reception venue and have their ceremonies elsewhere. The venue is large, so will support many weddings from 50 to 1,500 guests.

Food and Drink

The Air Museum does not provide food or drink. You will need to arrange for both yourself. Should you choose to have alcohol at your wedding, you will need to pay for security.  The Museum will arrange with the company to ensure you have some, but you will need to pay $250 per guard, one per 100 people.

Pricing and Collections

Because each event is unique, Fargo Air Museum requires that you inquire with them directly for a quote for your event.  They have different options depending on the size of your wedding and what exactly you will need.
